• It is used for separating impurities such as stones, metals, glass and other impurities from the material.
• The basic principle involves passing dry granular material over an inclined, vibrating and screen covered deck.
• Air from pressure fans in the base is forced up through the deck. The uniform airflow vertically separates or stratifies the material, with lighter material in the upper strata flowing down the deck. As a result, heavy particles such as stones, glass, metal etc. travel on the upside and lighter material travel on the downside.
• The upper layer with the light particle flows downward through the screen and stone- free product gets collected into the final outlet hopper.
• Also, each Impeller of Blower is dynamically balanced.
• Apart from this, the deck vibration with the change in commodity or grain can be adjusted by the Variable Frequency Drive.
